FDU removes interim tag from Vetrone

Vetrone was given the job on an interim basis for last season and led the team to a 10-8 record in the Northeast Conference and an 11-21 overall mark. FDU was beaten by Long Island in the quarterfinals of the NEC tournament.

"Greg is a great fit for this university," athletics director David Langford said. "His strong recruiting skills, networking capabilities and fundraising strengths complement his coaching abilities very well. Vetrone joined the Knights' staff for the 2008-09 season as an assistant under then head coach Tom Green having served in the same capacity with the program from 1988-1991 where his responsibilities also included overseeing recruiting.

Colts give the ‘D’ its due

The Indianapolis Colts know that winning the Super Bowl last season put a huge target on their backs, and they expect opponents to go all-out to knock them from the top of the mountain.
